Staying at El Toucan Loco Floating Lodges was a unique family getaway that brought us closer together in a truly picturesque setting. Nestled in the stunning mangroves, this little slice of paradise offered our family the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. The canoeing was a definite highlight. We set out early one morning, paddling through the tranquil waters and reveling in the sights of various wildlife, including jellyfish and playful dolphins. It felt good to be disconnected from the usual hustle, surrounded by nature. Dining at the lodge was a pleasant surprise. Sylvie’s meals, sourced mostly from the garden, catered to both our adventurous palates and our vegan family member. Sharing stories with hosts Sylvie and Olivier during dinner made the experience even more memorable, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
